Enclosed Floatation Bags
These adapt to a broad range of floatation requirements. This totally enclosed design allows the use of the bag in any position inside of structures or compartments that could not normally be made airtight. Lowering long continuous structures to the ocean bottom can generally require supporting the structure along its length to distribute the load and prevent breaks. Enclosed floatation bags are easily rigged onto cable and pipes and easily remain inflated regardless of surface conditions. Pressure relief valves allow expanding gas to escape, while maintaining maximum lift capacity. Threaded airline connections allow multiple bag manifolding for simultaneous filling. Equipped on both sides with heavy duty stainless steel D-rings for great flexibility in attachment. The enclosed range is constructed of extra high tenacity neoprene coated nylon. This material is 0.060 inch thick, highly abrasion and rot resistant. These bags can remain inflated for an extended period of time both on the surface and underwater. Lift capacities from 200 to 6,000 lbs. Larger custom designs are also available.
